Hawkeye Manufactures the Best Hot Tubs on the Market

I’m a long term customer of Hawkeye Manufacturing and I’ve owned several models. It is hard for me to put in to words how happy I’ve been with this company. From the service, to the convenience, to the actual hot tubs themselves, I give Hawkeye Spas 5 stars without a question. They show outstanding customer loyalty which is a big reason why I’ve stuck with them over the years. They constantly give me a good price for this reason, which has always been on the higher end compared to other brands, but I’ve learned the hard way the quality is way more important with this sort of investment. The lower maintenance the better. Thank you Hawkeye once again for getting me a spa in my budget that Im sure will last just as long as the others I’ve owned from you guys. I will continue to recommend your company and product.

Service Tech Very Thorough

I recently had an issue with the second pump on my Hawkeye Spa by Hawkeye Manufacturing, which thankfully did fall under warranty. I’ve had the spa for about 2 years, and this is the first problem I’ve had. The service tech arrived at my house just before I was leaving to drive in to town. He was there to replace the pump which apparently is a pretty quick job, but when I got back over an hour later, he was still there inspecting my hot tub. I thought to my self, “Great, he’s probably going to find something else wrong with it and charge me”, but turns out everything was fine. He told me “I would rather make sure EVERYTHING is working now instead of having to come out here again later”. I like his style, and I like the way they do business. That kind of thing goes a long way, and that’s ultimately what lead me here write a good review on Hawkeye Manufacturing. 5 stars on service!

Great Company Great Product

We have purchased our last 2 hot tubs form this company. Our first one lasted for over twelve years! The spa was extremely durable. Through twelve years all I had to replace was the cover, a couple jets, and a head rest. We’ve been satisfied to the fullest with the performance, efficiency, and practicality of Hawkeye Manufacturing products. I would recommend Hawkeye  to anyone looking for a quality hot tub that lasts. We recently moved and just bought our second Hawkeye Spa called the Eclipse (smaller than our first one), and we are just as pleased. The jets are even stronger, and the shell has a nice glossy finish. We joke because after another twelve years, who knows where we’ll be, but if we’re buying a hot tub, rest assured it will be from Hawkeye Manufacturing.

Hawkeye Manufacturing Bad Review: Pump Issues

I own a Hawkeye Spa and I had major start up issues with my pumps. If it weren’t for these issues, I would not be writing a bad review for Hawkeye Manufacturing. The hot tub has been absolutely wonderful since I got it running last week. I enjoy it thoroughly every day. The pressure from the jets is outstanding and the water stays very hot just how I like it. Unfortunately though, I did have major problems with the pumps in the spa, so let me explain why I’m writing a bad review for Hawkeye Manufacturing. When I first started up the spa both pumps were jammed. I called customer service and they said it was due to what is called an “air lock”. Basically, an air bubble gets stuck in the pump and it shuts off for safety reasons so the motor doesnt burn out. If this was the only issue, I would have been fine with it, but it took me 3 different attempts (and calls to customer service) to get the air out. And to top it all off, this problem happenned on both of my pumps!

They said this kind of thing is common, but not with both pumps. I said why don’t you guys figure out a better way for getting the air out instead of me sitting out here for a half a day trying to figure it out myself. I do hate to be so harsh on these guys though because they really were trying to fix my issue and they were being very patient. So overall, considering the rocky start, and also considering my high satisfaction with the actual running product, I give Hawkeye Manufacturing 4 stars.

If I had to rate Hawkeye manufacturing on a scale of 1 stars to 5 stars, I would give them 3.5 stars. I like my tub, I like the company, but I’ve had a few issues over the years. My wife says I’m entering a complaint just to complain, but the thing is I’m really not complaining too much. The complaints I had about Hawkeye Manufacturing to this point were all from a few years ago, and I have been taken care of and compensated for my troubles since. I just wanted to submit not just my complaints but the good stuff also to make it official and spread the word about my experience.

Like I said, I bought my tub about 4 years ago at a home show in Atlanta. It’s a Hawkeye Spa Enterprise. Over the years it has run great… surprisingly. At first it did not run that great, in fact at first, it didn’t run at all! I remember being really upset at the beginning. I spent all kinds of time on the phone with the troubleshooting guy. Tons of time. He determined the spa had a defective pump as its main pump. I figured well no big deal. They sent me a new one (which took a while), and they sent the wrong pump! So, I had to wait even longer to get the right pump. I also had an issue with my cover getting damaged on delivery which took forever to figure out too.

Long story short, I hate to be to harsh on Hawkeye Manufacturing with too many complaints because they were actually really nice on the phone and they helped me out and followed up. They also sent us some free comp chemicals for my troubles which was nice. My wife made me put that in…hahaha. No but really, we do like the spa, and while I had some complaints about Hawkeye Manufacturing at the beginning, I’ve ben happy ever since, so I will give them 3.5 stars.

11 Years and Still Running Strong

11 Years and Still Running Strong

I live in Michigan and have lived in the Midwest all my life. My Hawkeye Ambassador hot tub has survived through 11 Michigan winters and is still running strong. The hot tub I had when I lived in Wisconsin died after 8 years and gave me nothing but trouble. So, I really thought I would have to get a new one by now, but this thing is still running GREAT! I’ve taken really good care of it this tome around; changed the filters, fluch the water out from time to time, so maybe that has something to do with it. But, I must say anyone looking for a hot tub that lasts. Go with Hawkeye Manufacturing. At this rate, it will outlive me!

Good review for Hawkeye Manufacturing

I bought my Venus hawkeye spa directly from Hawkeye Manufacturing several years ago and I just wanted to write a quick review and I want to make it a good review on the tub and the company.

I had some start up issues when I first got it here which was kind of a hassle because the service guy had to come out to fix it. It was annoying because I was really anxious to use my new hot tub and it took a few days to get it fixed. Other than that, the tub has been great. Lots of pressure because I got the 2 pumps option. It also has a good amount of room to move around.

Hawkeye manufacturing as a company has been great. Again, I had the start up issue, but they were very apologetic and accommodating, and the new pump and service was covered under warranty. Customer service was good, the repair man was thorough. Overall, I am really happy with Hawkeye Manufacturing and I have already recommend this company to friends.

Hawkeye Manufacturing is a big help

Hawkeye Manufacturing helped me out over the years ever since I bought the scratch and dent tub. I picked it up right from their factory at a really good price, because it was older and all they did was fix it up and sold it.

I live pretty close to Hawkeye Manufacturing where they make old ones and new ones. Over the years when I had problems with my tub, I just head down there and get the part I need and they always have it. They also give me real good advice on things. If I did it all again, I would still get a used one because I don’t mind making repairs to it. Only difference is I would get a smaller tub because mine is big and old and takes a lot of power to run right.
